02 / Sequence
Measure, foam, crate, seal, dock.
Five steps. The object is not guessed. We reply with a packing note before timber is cut.
Measure
Length, width, height of the object — glazing on or off. We do not pack from a photograph alone if the work can be measured.
Foam
Density to the object. Soft for paper, museum for framed work, rigid for stone and glaze that cannot flex.
Crate
A travel crate takes a travelling frame. A storage crate is the bed and the lid. Hire if the show is short.
Seal
Lid seated. Our number and your reference on the face. Nothing decorative. Glassine stays on the work until the hang.
Dock
The waterfront door. Sunday–Thursday 07:30–16:30. Friday until noon. Closed Saturday.

No. Send millimetres, glazing, and travel or storage. We reply with a packing note.
02 Can I hire a crate for a show?
Yes. Crate hire is for the run of a show, then back to HaNamal 21. See Shows.
03 What if the work is glazed?
Say so. A travel frame keeps the glazing off the paint. The configurator has a yes/no.
04 When is the dock open?
Sunday–Thursday, 07:30–16:30. Friday 07:30–12:00. Closed Saturday.
05 Do you treat timber for export stamps?
No. This is exhibition packing. If you need a heat-treated export case, this is the wrong bench.
